Lonnie (she/they) is a storyteller bringing new life to old tales and traditions.

 

Lonnie is an actor, playwright, historical seamstress, accordionist, and ingénue of the Yiddish stage. She devotes herself to every project with curiosity, warmth, openness, hard-working professionalism, and radiant joy.

They are a member of GLYK, a queer Yiddish theatre collective based in Brooklyn. Her original plays have premiered at Wesleyan University, Columbia University, and Creede Repertory Theatre.​
